There is a particular kind of energy you feel when a room filled with professionals who actually care. That was the vibe at the recent Able Plus Inner West networking event in Burwood. Bebrite attended the event as a part of the wider in-home care and NDIS community. For us, it was less about the networking in the traditional sense and more about being part of a shared conversation.
Why Networking Matters?
One of the things that often goes unspoken in care work is how many roles exist quietly in the background.
Cleaning is one of them.
Within the NDIS and in-home care sector, cleaning is not an afterthought. Yet for participants, carers, and families, cleaning is how they live with dignity and feel control in their own homes. It is the kind of support that only becomes visible when it is missing. Being in a room with support coordinators, service providers, and community organisations was a great reminder that every form of care, visible or not, sits within the same ecosystem.

Networking Beyond Introductions
The presence of organisations such as Able Plus further reinforced that networking within the NDIS space is not about competition. their work highlights how effective care depends on networks of organisations that understand one another’s roles and limitations.
At Bebrite, most of our work happens in home. It usually quite and consistent. But it does not exist in isolation. Attending events like this is one of our way to staying connected to people, stories, and systems that shape the NDIS and community care sector. It is how we ensure our cleaning service support not just spaces, but the people who live in them.
