Sir, Madam.
Our services begin at the Bronze level and continue through Silver
to Gold. Each level provides a more superior service than the one
before, and in fact, the price difference between the Silver and
Bronze service in an average 3-bedroom home is only $28.
All of our services begin with a thorough pre vacuum; this
will remove up to 70% of the dirt and allow the steam clean process
to be much more effective.
Our Bronze Service includes a thorough pre-vacuum, pre-spray
of all carpets with neutral cleaner, hot water extraction and sanitation
with deodorising (Sentinel) to complete the service. Our guide is
$30 per room; this price will be confirmed by our Franchisee’s
on site as part of an obligation free quote.
OUR CARPET CLEANING SYSTEM
Bebrite's 5 Step carpet cleaning system has been
developed from careful and unbiased consideration of all Carpet
Cleaning Systems dating back to the early 1960's, through to those
now adopted as being the best available and readily affordable.
Bebrite's 5 Step carpet cleaning system
is guaranteed to deep clean your carpet without leaving it soaking
wet for hours - meaning less disruption to your day and less stress
in your life. Carpets cleaned the Bebrite way are left sparkling
clean, odour free, and when treated with Bebrite's® Supershield
Professional, Bebrite offer a 3 year written guarantee against
most stains caused from spills.
It is always a good idea to understand a little of the history
and the origin of some of the terms that are used when being introduced
to a new process or system. This is even more important, in an
industry where terms such as Dry, Extract, Vacuum, Shampooing
& Steam are used to imply meanings that at best are
loosely connected to the accepted meanings for those terms.
For example, "Shampoo" conjures up
an image of applying a gentle liquid cleaning agent to ones hair
& scalp, massaging it in and rinsing, with lots of fresh clean
water for a squeaky clean and healthy outcome. Does this sound
like the $15 per room carpet shampoo you are familiar with?
Take away the hype and we are basically left with a variety of "Carpet
Cleaning Processes" developed to clean wall-to-wall
carpeting. The Bebrite 5 Step Carpet Cleaning system or process,
evolved, together with the equipment used. Today this system is
recognised as the preferred process adopted by leading Carpet Cleaning
organisations throughout the world. Bebrite Five
Step System:
Step 1: Deep Vacuum
Step 2: Spot Clean & Pre Spray Stains
Step 3: Pre Measured Rinsing Solution
Step 4: Orbital Floor Machine. Pre Extraction
Step 5: Extraction Process
Bebrite acknowledges that the new generation of carpet cleaners
and those who have adopted world best practice, has not removed
old practices still employed by many so called carpet cleaners.
Deep
Vacuum:
Professional Carpet Cleaning
SydneyThe first realisation is that upward of 70% of all soil
in carpets is best removed dry, (by thorough pre vacuuming
with an appropriate upright vacuum cleaner).
The Australian Standard for carpet cleaning promotes the use
of a 2 motor vacuum. This recommendation has been a long overdue
recognition of a generally sound practice.
There are positive elements in all systems, but some have
been compromised to meet market expectations and various attempts
to create a unique system for marketing purposes. None of
the current crop of popular processes addresses all of the
issues. The Bebrite system adopts the very best of world best
practice whilst not using hype to prove uniqueness! Bebrite's
focus is to offer a professional service with the capability
to meet the most basic expectation, as well as selling up
to Blue Ribbon levels and being able to deliver.
Moveable Items - It is recommended that movable
furniture and other items that are light enough for one or
two persons to carry be removed or placed to one side to allow
easy access to the carpeted area being cleaned.

Spot Clean & Pre Spray Stains: Care should be exercised when
pre-treating stains as this is often when stains can be irretrievably
set. The Bebrite technician when in doubt as to the origin of a
stain will start with Bebrite 3DC Spot Stain Remover, as it will
not alter the ph of the stain causing it to become permanent.
Bebrite Ultimate Carpet Pre Spray is a safe to use and most effective
emulsifier of ingrained dirt and in most applications will prove
very successful. When, in reference to removing soil, dirt, stains,
etc., we speak of cleaning something, some type of chemistry is
inevitably involved. When something is "cleaned" a chemical
reaction of some kind has taken place. Of course, most people know
that it takes different kinds of chemicals to remove (clean) different
types of soils and stains.
Many types of cleaning involve the dissolving of one substance,
(eg; soil) into a second substance, (eg; cleaning agent) and then
removing both from a surface, leaving that surface free of both
substances (or; clean). The substance doing the dissolving is commonly
referred to as a solvent.
What
System To Use
There are many situations where one carpet cleaning system will
directly compete with another and to ignore one in favour of another
is to do so at the risk of losing the business, or failing to offer
the right solution at the right time.
carpet cleaning companiesPrimarily, the two predominant systems
now being considered both have credibility and one should not be
ignored in favour of the other. If you want and need dry carpets,
then don't pretend that steam cleaning will provide it. The dry
carpet cleaning system will provide a much dryer end result whilst
the carpet will remain slightly damp on completion.
The Dry System
The system requires the use of a Polivac Orbital Machine and
3M Pads. The 3M Pad is placed matted side down on the carpet
to be cleaned and the base is centred on top of it. The gentle
"Orbital" movement of the machine activates the
action strengthened by [Bebrite Soft-N-Sour Neutraliser],
which assists in the removal of the soil from the fibres and
attaches it to the Pad. Pads are continually changed as necessary
by cleansing through a hot water soak and rinse. Clean hot
water sourced from the customers own water supply, is stored
in a solution tank. This hot water is usually kept heated
via a small immersion heater in the solution tank.
The number of rotations (passes) is determined by the degree
of soil. Although several passes and changes of [heated bonnets]
maybe necessary in heavily soiled areas, the cleaning process
will remove most soil and stains.
|
|
 |
The carpet should be dry within 3/4-S of an hour, usually in less
than 20 minutes. Areas where several bonnets were used require longer
drying time. Going over these areas with one or two absorbent bonnets
removes much of the moisture; such a step is highly recommended
to back up the quick drying claims of the process,
Final grooming of the carpet enhances the carpet appearance and
hastens drying.
The Wet, or Steam Cleaning System
Both systems have short falls. The steam cleaning system will always
clean more thoroughly and deeply than any dry cleaning system, particularly
in heavily soiled and traffic areas, and the dry carpet system will
leave the carpet dryer on completion, therefore presenting less
risk to possible browning or shrinkage, and this is why Bebrite
advises using a combination of both systems.
Portable Extraction Unit
Clean hot water sourced from the customers own water supply,
is stored in the solution tank. This hot water is usually
heated via a small element in the machines solution tank,
(or by immersion heater) its main purpose being to maintain
the temperature, not to actually raise it,
During the cleaning operation this hot water is pumped out
through a pressure pump at anything from 50 psi up to 400
psi, depending on the type of unit being used. This pressurised
water is transported from the machine to the floor through
a pressure hose where it is then discharged onto the carpet.
The vacuum to remove the water and the associated soil, is
provided by either one or two vacuum motors.
The addition of pre diluted Bebrite de-foaming solution
by lightly spraying into the recovery tank, is aimed at killing
off the build up of foam to prevent it from activating the
shut-off valve too early.

|
 |
Portable units form the backbone of the industry. 70% of carpets
are cleaned with portable machines as opposed to truck mounts. (be
they electric or independent truck mounts)
Bebrite have adopted this system because of the advantages of being
small, easily manoeuvrable and very transportable.
They are perfect in a security conscious environment or working
in a high rise building.
Bebrite's modern portables are very powerful, efficient, and have
automatic features that assist our authorised Franchise technicians
using them.
Whilst not being able to do the volume of work that larger units
cover, they are nevertheless a vital part of the industry, and are
capable of operating in any environment.
There have been many significant advances in the types of vacuuming
equipment, extraction equipment, and multi function floor machine
technology, and in the training available to operators. Bebrite's
training procedures, the equipment used by Bebrite's fully licensed
Franchisee's and the chemical's manufactured exclusively for Bebrite
and used by our Franchised technicians, place Bebrite in a market
position clearly enabling our Bebrite teams to offer the best possible
carpet cleaning solution to any situation.
Removing stains the right way
Bebrite's licensed Franchise technicians will where possible visually
identify the stains that are left in the carpet. Rust stains will
look exactly rust. They will be metallic in appearance, and will
almost certainly assume a reddish brown colour.
Protein stains should be easy to identify, as there will likely
be the outward sign of some foodstuffs. These marks could be yellow,
red or grey. Grease based stains will be a grey or black colour,
the sort of coloured stains that normally come out with the extraction
process. Rust. It is important to try
and identify where the stain might have come from as most rust stains
are as a result of furniture with metal legs being placed onto the
carpet. A professional should only attempt the removal of rust stains
using Bebrite Rust - Away. Protein.
If you identify the leftover stain as a protein stain, most likely
to be caused by a food spill like eggs or milk, cordial, beetroot,
again, a professional should only attempt the removal of these stains,
particularly when the stain has been left to dry, using Bebrite
Excel. Grease/Oil. If the stain
is greyish or even black, and has not come out with the normal extraction
clean, again, only a professional should attempt the removal of
the stain, using Bebrite Solvit Orange. It may be worthwhile first
using Bebrite 3DC Carpet Spotter which can be purchased
directly online and is a fantastic spotter cleaner to have at all
times around the home or office. Ink.
Ink will also not normally come out of the carpet fibres with standard
extraction cleaning unless a pre spray with a very high pH has been
used and this is not recommended. If the ink is water based, then
you may apply Bebrite 3DC Carpet Spotter to remove
it. If not, again, a professional should only attempt the removal
of the stain using Bebrite Solvit Orange.
Blood. This will also not normally come out with
the standard extraction process. It is very important to note that
staining of this nature can carry with it significant health risks
and it is advisable to only use a professional organisation to attempt
the removal of such stains. Bebrite® Anti Microbial
is recommended when removing blood, due to the potential dangers
of any blood spills these days. The Bebrite® Anti Microbial
treatment will not remove the stain, but it will remove the germs
and bacteria. Following such treatment the stain might then be removed
by using Bebrite Excel. This treatment should then
be left and finally any remaining stain can be removed by using
Bebrite 3DC Carpet Spotter. Coffee
or Tea. These will not come out with the standard extraction
process treatment unless you are very lucky. Apply Bebrite
3DC Carpet Spotter to the affected area and allow the alkali
to react with the acid based parts of the stain. These stains are
particularly difficult and yet again, a professional should only
attempt the removal of these stains by using Bebrite Excel.
Often the stain will require further treatment by using a little
Bebrite Brown - Away, to remove the remaining colour
from the stain.
Please always remember, there comes a time when a stain cannot be
removed and is better left Stain removal can take up a lot of time,
and the chances of getting a high percentage of the stains out after
the extraction process has failed to, are small.
Upholstery
Treatment
Care should be exercised when cleaning
Fabric and or Upholstery, and pre-treating stains, as this
is often when stains can be irretrievably set. The Bebrite
technician when in doubt as to the origin of a stain will
start with Bebrite 3DC Spot Stain Remover,
as it will not alter the ph of the stain causing it to become
permanent. Using the correct Fabric and Upholstery equipment
is also very important to the success of the job.
Bebrite's fully licensed Franchisee's are equipped to clean
and protect your upholstered lounges, upholstered dining seats,
and any other fabric covered settings. Bebrite technicians
use specialty spot and stain removal equipment specifically
designed for such applications. Carpet Cleaning
